For the 5th installation at c2c project space we are happy to pair the art of San Francisco artist, Amanda Hughen with that of Brooklyn based artist, Tamara Zahaykevich. Both artists have an acute sense of color as they overlay and build their forms. Almost cellular or biological in their presentation, these forms indicate that the two artists are decidedly interested in investigating the small seemingly unimportant parts that actually make up larger masses. It is by understanding these details that we find the true meaning of the whole.
The show dates are February 21 – March 14, 2015 with an opening reception from 6-9pm on the 21st.
